The sixth international competition of independent handbag designers came to the end. The winners are two sisters from Iran with their collection Ita.
Bita and Rouzita Vahhabaghi are not new in the designer world. Besides their profession in architecture, they also work in graphic design. Despite the sharp competition they won the first place with their peppermint bag, made from the finest italian nabuc and decorated with gilded metal.
Jury, in which were besides others were Deborah Lloys, Kenneth Cole and Carlos Falchi, chose the bag as the best in style and design.
The winners won besides money a collaboration with Kenneth Cole and an opportunity to create their own collection for New York department store Saks Fifth Avenue. The victorious bag will be able to be ordered on the internet pageIta COLLECTIONwith a price 950 dollars.
