When Dita Von Teese signs a product, you can expect that this is going to be something very feminine, sensual and special. And her new collection of underwear is just like that.
The queen of burlesque said about her line ‘Von Follies’, that she found an inspiration in her closet. „I’m excited to launch the collection in Great Britain, where women can buy special and vintage underwear, which stress out the woman silhouette and make them sexy and glamorous. Every piece of underwear is an ode to women and reflection of my love to vintage glamour.“

Nicolas Ghesquière left Balenciaga

Valentinewitmeur.com

As Balenciaga confirmed and the designer Nicolas Ghesquière himself, the high fashion brand will get a new creative director after 15 years. News has shaken the fashion world, which didn’t expect the change in leadership.
„Nicolas was one of the most exciting designers in a last decade,“ told the chief editor of Vogue UK, Alexandra Shulum. „He changed Balenciaga in the brand who is adored by fashion world and who made an impact on clothes we are wearing.“
Ghesquière tried to bring and open the brand to the new, wider public, which obviously won’t happen. His successor is not known yet, so we can only wait to see who will sit on the hot chair of this prestigious brand.

What are we going to wear next season?

Louis Vuitton for Spring 2013

Maybe spring seems far away, but in fashion world it’s not like that. Prominent fashion designers have already shown their spring collection on fashion weeks around the globe. Every designer has their own vision, but I tried to extract the main trend, which you have to conquer until spring!

1. Elegant shorts

Chloe
They were shown at Chole, DKNY, Rache Zoe… What else than a big „YES“? Spring and summer are warm seasons, when we have to expose skin and show beautiful legs. Elegant shorts are smart exchange for a skirt and they are not only reserved for teens and models, but also for real women.

2. Exaggerated volumes

Jil Sander

In the next year the volumes will be even more modern! Loose cuts and avantgarde tailoring will skillfully hide lacks at ours bodies, which would be in tight piece of clothes easily exposed. Excessive volume are also appreciated as reminders of the sophisticated tailoring which can play with proportions. Besides, these silhouette are reminiscence of the 60s and 70s, but with a very modern and sophisticated touch. Our role models: Jil Sander, Marni, and Chanel.

3. Japanese kimono

Emilio Pucci

A kimono can be all kinds: as a kimono dress or a kimono shirt or as a costume. Prada is presenting a kimono in oversized variety with japanese flowers pattern, Etro refined it as a suit with smaller vivid flowers and Emilio Pucci imagined a kimono mixed with a military style with a trimmed golden dragon.

4. 60’s

Louis Vuitton

Already this year the sixties were a big inspiration for designers and they kept the trend for the next sping season. Obviously that was a golden era of the mankind and creativity, after which we still have nostalgic hiccups. Kate Spade brought them back as a sweet blouse and under a tiny bit widened bell-shaped skirt and Louis Vuitton with cubic graphics in poisons colors. Or you like more Moschino’s dress with big graphical accentuations? Inspirations and varieties is many!

5. Over-sized frills

Gucci

The key thing at this look is that you choose tight silhouette with added over-sized frills, which break monotonous image and attract attention to certain parts of the body. They go really well on the shoulders or upper arms (Gucci), on the low neck line (Chloe) or all the way from shoulders to the waist (Givenchy).

6. Animal prints in a ‘patchwork’ style

Preen
Animal prints are not news in fashion, although they are returning as a trend. This time you should style them in a new, fresh way in patchwork form and you hit the ‘jack pot’. The main leaders of the trend: Proenza Schouler, Erdem and Preen. Do not forget an accessorizes in neon green or yellow for a poisons look.

7. Sailor’s stripes

Marc Jacobs

Every spring there’s the same story: We hardly wait for a weather get warmer and that we run away to the seaside. Till the summer break we have a sailor’s stripes pattern to comfort us. This spring and summer they got a bit wider. Jonathan Saunders designed them in a ‘V’ shape over the length of body, March Jacobs hit the vertical and at a ‘high street’ brand Topshop they have played with asymmetric and slightly faded stripes. In short, any stripe is not the same stripe, so try to find your sailor’s story.

8. Suit with shorts

Emporio Armani

Business suit with a skirt is an old story, for the next season designers advice that you change a skirt with shorts in same style, as the jacket is. Michael Kors suggested a striped suit, Matthew Willimason with graphical patterns and Emporio Armani in British style as is a trademark of Burberry.

9. Transparent

Christopher Kane

We love transparent, because it seems are nude, but it’s much more sophisticaed than vulgar barness. It’s unvield, but still covered. Emilio Pucci, Chado Rucci, Christopher Kane and Stelly McCartney for spring love a translucence.

10. Sport dimensions

Hussein Chalayan

Sport chic and ‘luxe’ are already from last year in fashion favor, everything since Celine and Stella McCartney brought it up. Stella has designed a sport jacket with added ‘twist’ with luxury and transparent fabric, later Victoria Beckham imitated it, but the trend in total with color-block neon variety has been introduced by Hussein Chalayan.

10 trendy knitted goods

Zara
The fast tumble of temperature, rain and cold wind brought us in a trifle worse mood. Well, autumn has it’s good sides. Dressing in layers, cozy knitwear, leather, hats, boots, charming jackets and mighty coats are small reasons why trendsetters are fond of fall.
Today I choose 10 pieces of knitted goods, mostly sweaters and dresses, which you can include to most of autumn trends. Store Zara, H&M, Pull and Bear and Bershka have enraptured with theirs rich and heterogeneous offer of knitwear, which is designed for young girls as much for adults. The pieces you can style in different ways – for business and casual occasions.

Movember

While men weeks before entering the month November take care of their mustache, that they will be in the month of mustache in the best shape, ladies can honor Movember with accessories, T-shirts with a motive of mustaches or decide for a special manicure with little mustaches at the end of nails.
As in October we wear pink meshes and this we fight together against breast cancer, that's how we show care every November for the health of men and strengthen senses, that health questions are not taboo theme.

November, called simply Movember, is in shape of mustaches so numerous brands and stores are trying to contribute to this likeable month, so they include in their collection pieces, accessorized with black mustaches.

We will love this month because of simpatic men, who decided to grow mustaches, and because of playful pieces of clothes and accessories, to which many trendsetters can't resist.
And you, will you collaborate with Movember?
